Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) Fogging Machines
ULV Machines are cold fogging machines that use large volumes of air, at low pressures, to transform liquid into droplets which are then dispersed into the atmosphere. This kills all odor-causing bacteria including gram-negative bacteria. Our favorite ULV Fogger is the VectorFog Go Z200.
Airless Disinfectant Sprayer
This type of machine provides disinfecting by completely coating to meet required dwell times. Airless sprayers achieve higher flow rates and better atomization of disinfectant chemicals. This machine also kills all odor-causing bacteria including gram-negative bacteria. Our favorite disinfectant sprayer is the Graco SaniSpray HP. This NEW airless disinfectant sprayer is made with the highest grade materials and delivers maximum productivity for all of our sanitization jobs.
Disinfecting Solutions
For each of these machines, we offer two solutions for disinfecting. The first solution we use is the EPA-approved MediClean Disinfectant Spray Plus. This is a water-based bactericide, deodorizer, fungicide, and antimicrobial all in one unique formulation. The second solution we use is the EPA-approved Fiberlock Technologies ShockWave. This is a quaternary ammonium chloride cleaner, disinfectant, and sanitizer designed for use on various surfaces subject to microbial contamination. We also carry a variety of Clorox brand products to aid in disinfecting.
Sanitizing is best achieved and most beneficial when done on a reoccurring basis. The most efficient way to manage your cleaning and disinfecting is by the month. Set specific goals and specific dates. High traffic areas like the entrance, lobbies, kitchen area, and bathrooms may need to be sanitized more regularly.
Looking for ways to keep everyone safe? Push for clean hands. Hang posters, bring it up in regularly scheduled meetings, and make sure hand sanitizers are easily accessible. The CDC recommends washing your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds in order to achieve proper cleansing. Dry your hands using a clean towel. Hand sanitizers do not get rid of all germ types but are a great replacement when soap and water are not available.
